Supervise talented group of DSP engineers, providing strong technical leadership as well as handling administrative and reporting tasks. Develop signal processing algorithms and software/firmware for the next generation of software defined radio. Responsibilities include modeling of DSP algorithms in MATLAB, implementation of algorithms on ARM processors using C/C++ and/or FPGAs in VHDL, and integration/testing of algorithms with higher layer software including field testing. Some embedded software development in C++ may also be required. Knowledge of 3G/4G wireless, including beamforming and MIMO, navigation and timing, radar processing, including pulse generation and pulse descriptor word processing, direction finding, and/or T/FDOA geolocation desired.
Meet with customers to derive requirements and develop solutions to customer needs. Create, analyze, and design software radio architectures including RF transceivers, Antennas, Power Systems, and Processors. Create, analyze, and design terrestrial and/or airborne SIGINT/EW/Comms systems. concepts for terrestrial and airborne platform integrations of radio equipment. Lead inter-disciplinary developments among Radio Frequency, Digital Hardware, Digital Signal Processing, Software, and Mechanical engineers. Coursework and experience in SIGINT/EW/Comms applications, signal processing, communications, hardware/software standards (e.g., VPX), electronic packaging, platform integration, information security, and design for manufacture required.
Apply mechanical engineering/product design principles to design, analyze, and integrate electronic systems for rugged applications. Be responsible for all facets of the product lifecycle, concept to production. Perform analysis in the areas of statics, dynamics, mechanical stresses, shock, vibration, thermal, fit/tolerances, and manufacturability to ensure a quality product design. Create 3D CAD concepts of systems, select components, perform detailed design, document for fabrication and assembly, and coordinate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, and vendors. Advanced coursework and/or experience in Mechanical design required. ProE/CREO experience preferred.
Design state-of-the-art circuits and synthesizers for RF transceivers covering the DC to 50+ GHz range, with emphasis on small size, low power, high performance, and low cost. Participate in all aspects of product design, from concept to system, circuit, and PC board-level design, through successful volume production. Advanced coursework and/or experience in RF design required.
Digital Hardware Engineer
Design complex high-speed digital circuits utilizing the latest-generation of microprocessors, digital signal processors, EPLD’s and FPGA’s. Advanced coursework and/or experience in high-speed digital design required.
Corporate Special Security Officer (CSSO)
Oversee and manage Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and classified information security requirements, functions, operating procedures and all personnel and physical security. Responsible for all SCIF and SPA activities. Protect classified government information and manage all personnel security clearance and processes. Conduct initial and on-going security training and education briefings. Administer the industrial security programs and support SCI and Special Access Programs in compliance with the NISPOM, JAFAN’s, DCID’s, ICD’s and other applicable government security directives. Establish and maintain a working relationship with all government agencies while building/managing SCIFs/SPAs as well as filing necessary clearance paperwork for employees, candidates, and consultants. Use JPAS and other special access sites to track and maintain clearances. This position requires an active TS/SCI Clearance issued by a U S Government Agency at time of hire.

Software Radio Applications Engineer
Develop software radio applications for 3G/4G wireless, including beamforming and MIMO, military communications, navigation and timing, radar processing, including pulse generation and pulse descriptor word processing, direction finding, and/or T/FDOA geolocation. Must be comfortable working on a large-scale project team within a local development environment. Experience with Linux, C/C++, Java, Python, Test Driven Development and Agile Scrum, ARM SoC development, and/or low level driver development desirable.
Develop FPGA firmware for the next generation of software defined radio. Projects include the development of high-speed serial interfaces such as PCI Express and 10 GigE, including protocols that ride over these interfaces such as NVMe, UDP, and VITA 49. Strong laboratory debugging skills are essential for this position. Some embedded software development in C++ may also be required.
Web UI Developer
Develop with C/C++. Development experience with Java and Python desirable. Experience with Linux software development desirable, along with proven ability to create clean and reusable modules or libraries. Experience with ARM SoC development desirable. Experience with low-level driver development desirable.
Senior Mechanical Designer
Design electronics packaging and systems and peripherals to meet rugged environmental and use-scenario requirements. Must have experience in using CAD tools to design sheet metal, machined, and injection molded components as well as perform trade-off analyses for manufacturability, tolerances, and environmental, structural, and ergonomic factors. ProE/CREO experience preferred. Must understand the fabrication techniques to manufacture the aforementioned goods and limitations which each impose upon design. Must have experience in user-interface and cable assembly design and general electro-mechanical component selection. Formal training in mechanical design, drafting, or associated trade is required.
PCB Layout Designer
Layout high density, multilayer PCBs. Must understand schematic and design requirements, and be able to work closely with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Must have understanding of PCB fabrication process. Experience designing boards with PADS and CAM350 BluePrint is preferred.
Responsible for supporting the company’s manufacturing and engineering test requirements as well as maintaining & improving the testing areas. Proactively identify and help address issues with appropriate groups to assure a smooth production schedule. Experience in the test & diagnostics of advanced RF & digital electronic circuitry required. Certified SMT rework skills and the ability to engage with the company’s Engineering staff at a technical level are a plus.
Work closely with design & manufacturing groups to define, develop, document, and implement test stations and their supporting programs for our manufacturing and product verification processes. Recommend improvements and assist in the definition of internal quality control standards. Must be experienced in the development of test stations and databases for volume manufacturing. Should possess knowledge of C++, Python, or similar software tools, LabVIEW or similar test software, tooling and fixture design, surface mount and through-hole technologies.
Quality Systems Engineer
Ensure the optimization and maintenance of robust quality practices and documentation. Proven experience in implementing quality policies and procedures, as well as knowledge of QA principles, procedures, tools, and process improvement methodologies, and ISO 9001 implementation, certification, & maintenance.
Master Scheduler/Material Planner
Responsible for the planning & establishment of inventory levels and production schedules to assure the on-time delivery of customer products while minimizing supply stream disruptions and costs. Develop production plans and release work orders for both sub-assemblies & final systems, and ensure the uninterrupted flow of materials in support of schedules. Proactively identify and help address issues towards the achievement of timely material deliveries, tight inventory control, optimized build schedules, and the obtainment of on-time shipment objectives. Must have experience in Material scheduling with computer based systems, including the utilization & analysis of Material Requirements Planning (MRP). Experience with capacity models & Deltek Costpoint a plus.
Technical Publications Specialist
Develop technical publications (manuals, training course, etc.) for a growing software radio product line. Experience in technical writing, graphics arts, electronics, wireless, and Microsoft Office required.
Field Support Engineer
Test, demonstrate, install, deploy, and/or evaluate products and systems. Must be experienced in defense applications of software radio and willing to travel extensively.
Populate and rework printed circuit boards (PCBs) and perform mechanical assembly of chassis, cables, and harnesses. Must be able to read and interpret assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and engineering documents, as well as test and troubleshoot assembled products. Proactively identify and help address issues with appropriate groups to assure a smooth production schedule. Formal training and experience in PCB and mechanical assembly required. Certification in IPC standards a big plus.
Configuration Management Specialist
Take a lead role in the successful implementation of the company’s new CM system and processes. Maintain consistent configuration control throughout all phases of the product life cycle; prepare, publish, and track all CM related documents and actions in accordance with both contractual and industry policies & procedures. Interface with the various engineering disciplines and other company professionals to help coordinate documentation approval efforts and communicate changes. Experience with ISO/CMMI a plus.
Assist in a variety of duties, including verifying and counting incoming items, processing items through material inventory system, issuing material for manufacturing orders, preparing kits, inspecting material, as well as organizing and maintaining inventory areas. Attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency with computer programs such as Deltek Costpoint, Excel, etc. required.
Responsible for program execution, including requirements, staffing, schedule and budget. Work with Project Engineer and customer to coordinate and manage technical and programmatic issues, maintain customer relationship, and develop new business. Experience in Government contracting required. Knowledge of SIGINT, ELINT and/or EW is a strong plus. PMP Certification is highly desirable.
Oversees the company’s inventory and shipping/receiving functions. Includes monitoring levels & ensuring proper inventory records at all times processing items through the material inventory system, issuing material for manufacturing orders, preparing kits, and resolving discrepancies. Optimizes the organization of company inventory and advances recommendations for additional improvements. Attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and ERP programs such as Deltek Costpoint required. APICS certification and/or two year degree a plus. Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in inventory management.
Support the assembly and testing of company products and determine the best tooling, equipment, and other utilities necessary to enhance our manufacturing operations. Construct and implement procedures & workflows for product builds to assure the obtainment of the company’s quality, cost, and throughput objectives. Perform engineering and related technical assignments utilizing best manufacturing engineering principles & practices. Actively participate in new product introduction efforts & the implementation of statistical process control techniques. Support the needs of the company’s ERP system. B.S. Degree or equivalent required.
Analyze and assist in processing Time and Labor Distribution, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billings, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Project Monitoring and Control, and Month-End Accounting Close. Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance required, relevant experience a plus, as is knowledge of Deltek Costpoint ERP system and Cognos.
